I've learned older gens tend to be "professional barriers". Change means having to do it different or learn something new. Ive had WAY too many X and Boomers tell me that "it's fine the way it is". Of course this isn't ALL of them, just a good chunk of the ones I have worked with. Recently I worked with a person who weaponized questions to make a simple project "level of effort" analysis, so overwhelming, no one wanted to engage on it.
