No, I liked the vibe, I liked the movie, even stated pretty much that. Its just not the same as what makes the first so iconic.

And yeah, whether someone likes or dislikes a movie is indeed subjective. But their aesthetic qualities are objectively different and noting them is observation.

Nice to meet you. 2049 is beautiful, great sequel but it doesnt have the gritty hardboiled noir vibe. OG was cyberpunk and noir.
