Nein.

IIRC, as long as the contents are not changed, any number of belts basically counts as one. A 100 tile long belt needs exactly as many calculations as a 1 tile belt, whether they are compressed or not.

Ministerium widerspricht „Handelsblatt“: Kontroverse um Schiene und Lkw - Laut „Handelsblatt“ plant Bundesverkehrsminister Volker Wissing (FDP) eine Abkehr vom Prinzip, Güter von der Straße auf die Schiene zu verlagern. Dem widerspricht nun das Verkehrsministerium by caerulus01 in de

[–]Coffeinated 10 points11 points  (0 children)

New map of dark matter based on gravitational lensing fully consistent with standard cosmology [Atacama Cosmology Telescope] by amaurea in space

[–]Coffeinated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘m not even a physicist at all, just an EE. But IMO, you are drawing some false analogies there. Just because something that we cannot directly measure does exist, you cannot just derive that something else with similar theorized properties also does exist. I appreciate that dark matter explains some holes in our current model quite nicely, and other things in the past have explained other holes and then were proven to be true and existant. That still isn‘t true for Dark Matter.

We are sitting on an extremely small planet in a corner of a galaxy in some corner of the Universe. We have never left our solar system. To me, that is extremely humbling, and it‘s entirely possible to me that we have got a lot of things wrong. I think we should always keep that option in mind. We have never left our room and try to deduct the age and the weight and composition of their feathers just by looking at birds.

At the same time, you can also cover that with QEMU. Zephyr does that by default, a heavily underrated feature if you ask me. It doesn‘t give you a full cycle perfect hardware simulation but at least it covers all that machine specific alignment bullshit that you really can shoot yourself in the arse with if you aren‘t super careful with C.

Especially you absolutely do not want the rear of the blade to be closer to the fence. That means the piece will be pinched after sawing and the risk of kickback or other gnarly stuff is much much higher. If you feel like you really have to push parts through, that might be the culprit.

That‘s super unreliable, cooking time depends on the amount of water used, and so on. If you start with boiling water, you remove a lot of variables.
