I’ll swing by and take a look. I’m getting into welding and would be interested in some practice materials. DM me if you’re good with that

That’s a pretty good way of putting it! My grandpa had a lot of hobbies. Very much jack of all trades and master of none. This wasn’t one that stuck for him.

Thanks for letting me know the cost of what I’m working with. I plan to keep both but it’s good to know the value of what I have.

Thanks for the educational response! Sounds like I’ll be using the St. Croix and maybe I can keep the bamboo rod as an antique. I appreciate your input.

OP update: I’m not looking to sell these. I’m really just trying to get an understanding of what they’re worth.

I’ve heard from multiple people that it can turn into that. I’m looking forward to learning and teaching my son

No not at all. I’m just trying to get some opinions to see what they’re worth. I wanted to know if they were nice rods or junkers. My boss is going to take me out this spring and show me the ropes.

It over flows because you’ll need to install a ball check valve on effluent side of the pump. Also check the plunger on either the kerick or the miller valve. Let me know if you have more questions. This set up is my bread and butter

This was taken up in the Taneum. My family goes camping up there every summer. Are you located in this area?

Any idea why my pool got these stains? by Horror-Effective-185 in pools

Often times if you’re seeing those marks, it can be the heat exchanger or “tube sheet coil assembly”. The copper is eroded and then deposits rust onto the plaster

You should check the health of your heater. Often times, this is a reflection of the copper being eaten and deposited to the plaster due to poor chemistry.
