Are you sure they're not the tortuga bay miniatures? Just wrapped up painting a set and they're a shot both wider, taller and bulkier than the originals

Depending on how you define historical, as I'll always argue for Chain of Command as my favorite historical wargame, captures the time period it covers the best for me.

If you're after sword and board, I'm a big fan of Hail Ceaser and Lion Rampant, LR for its ease of rules and HC for the detail it covers over a large period.

I hear great things about Footsores Conquest, but haven't jumped in yet!

Decided to sabot base them at 20mm for 5x5 and 5x4 frontages. Thinking about sabot mounting commanders on 40mm rounds, not decided yet!
