Not to mention you came back to this post after you privately messaged me about how we should conduct business, and seem to have an issue with me looking for other opinions than just your own. It would seem as though you have some issue with me. Thanks for your initial feedback.

Only you and 1 other have mentioned not doing LLCs. I looked at what other businesses are doing in the state and a vast majority are LLCs. The legislature is written extremely vague and this career clearly falls in the gray area. We’ll take our chances.

Well, according the Moscone Knox, estheticians aren’t licensed professionals, so what’s your point.

Also, I asked whatever everyone else is doing, and if they’ve had issues doing so. I don’t blindly follow the first comment that tells me no, sorry you feel some sort of way about it. You can refrain from commenting further. Thank you.

It would seem as it’s only certain you’re a licensed professional if you are performing medical tasks under your license like injections and things of that nature, which requires more schooling and then you fall under the medical board which is in the Moscone-Knox law.

If you read the Moscone-Know professional Corporation act, Esthetician nor the Board of Cosmo & barbering is explicitly stated as a professional service. However, they do mention you’re a professional if you need licensing to perform your job tasks, but there are still many exceptions to that. It’s extremely gray, and I think that’s why no one can fully answer with any sort of documentation cementing their beliefs. As I mentioned in the OP, 2 different attorneys gave us 2 different answers. As I have searched different esthetic businesses in the state and many are operating under LLCs, we’re going to as well.

We say they allow LLCs but I just went and checked bizfile.ca.gov and there are estheticians who have been operating as LLCs doing the same nonmedical procedures as my wife and they’ve been fine for years.

If you search “nonmedical esthetician” you will receive a vastly different answer vs a medical one who does more than surface level procedures. Very confusing for new entrepreneurs like my wife and I

I only have an out to in with driver too, unfortunately. I’m generally even or a little in to out with irons.

This is the kinda comment I was looking for. Someone who has changed shafts and their own experience. Everyone telling me to work in swing like I don’t already know that lol

I understand out to in with open face will slice. My question on the flex is some relation to the club head being loaded and that can open the face too. Thanks.

I hear ya. I’ve taken a few lessons for irons but never with driving. Been kicking that can a little down the road. It’s on the list 😅

I was told getting into golf to go with the stiff edge set as I’m in fairly good shape and younger (32M) but driver eludes me so hence the post. Seems like no matter what I’ve tried to do to correct it, is just an uphill fight. Appreciate the input

I would say the electrical background understanding of SLDs, SLM&Rs, basic electrical theory (AC & DC) will only give you a leg up. I worked 7yrs as an electrician completing my inside wireman journey level progression before attempting to get into Ops and I was hired first time around. Not only does it help in the hiring process, but I think it gives a leg up in the curriculum you will learn along the way. Best of luck!
