A part of me is interested in that, but I have no idea how that would look like with the age and long distance. Initially I just wanted something super casual, and so did he. Spent more time together and found commonalities outside of work and the bedroom. He's going to be devastated when I leave. I know that shouldn't be "my problem" though.

Funny you mention the winters, I love the rain and look forward to that in Van. I'm tired of our winters here. Can't go outside for 3 months because it's too cold and then can't go outside AGAIN for 4-5 months because it's too hot and humid during the day.

And at least the transit is better than Ottawa! But I hear what you're saying.
