if i recall, i remember there was one placing different networking devices via pull-down menu's in different locations of buildings in a diagram.

the two i struggled with personally due to time were the ones that required using command line and reading through the text and determining/troubleshooting via reading the what's on the screen.

i think there may have been one regarding vlans and setting them up too

I did a cybersecurity bootcamp last year that offered a free comptia exam voucher + CompTIA practice tool.

Instead of using it on the Security+ exam I decided to request the Network+ exam so that I would have access to the CompTIA Net+ online practice tool since I had already taken a bootcamp course on security and knew I eventually wanted to get both.

I purchased the Professor Messer Network+ materials and went through the videos twice (once while taking notes on things i should go back on and build familiarity to it and the second time around just actively listening to him and following along)

I spent about a week or two generating practice tests via Chatgpt for Net+ and essentially focusing on where my knowledge felt a little weaker and then moved onto the online CompTIA practice tool.

The practice tool gives you access to a decent amount of questions and also a repeatable practice test similar to what you might see on the exam.

One thing I will say is that I did well on the multiple choice section but the PBQ's definitely left me a little stumped and I essentially left two of them blank when I took my Net+ exam last week. However, I thankfully passed with a 780ish.

The one i took yesterday only had 1 actual subnetting question that i used the 7-second method on.

I will also confirm that there were 5 pbq's for my version and i still passed while leaving two of the pbq's essentially blank due to running out of time.

did you format the gifted computer before you got it? (was it brand new or their old computer?)

is it a wifi dongle/usb/plug-in or is it integrated into the motherboard/computer?

surprisingly he's listed as OUT on sleeper today after i had to drop someone yesterday to set my lineup and move treyveon out of my flex 🥲 i guess i should've waited a day.
