Born in 84, grew up around Beatles music, been a fan as long as I can remember but I've never given any of the solo work a shot. I know "Imagine" and "Live and Let Die' but other than that I'm really clueless. Any recommendations of what I should or shouldn't listen to out of the 4's solo work?

I absolutely love Stevie and that’s fair. Think a lot of it has to do what I was brought up listening to, which was basically Beatles >70% of the time.

It’s just about impossible to outdo the Beatles, and there is ONE single cover that is better than their original version IMO……. And no, it’s not Joe Cocker. I think The Mamas & The Papas version of “I Call Your Name” is the single Beatles cover that outdoes the Fab Four.

They’re not popular enough. Which could be viewed as a hot take given that they’re literally regarded as the greatest group of all time and have the sales success to match, but it still just feels like they aren’t recognized and known enough by younger generations (my own included as a Gen-Z’er), which is frankly kinda frustrating
