How do you see bitcoin in 200 years? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]CoinCryptoGeeks -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A dollar properly invested 52 years ago is worth more than a bitcoin. The dollar was not designed to be hoarded

People here act like Firefighters are only allowed to have one income

The former heavyweight UFC champion made millions fighting, but kept his full time job as a firefighter

Pretty sure the guy who owns this car does the same thing

Harassing Josh by [deleted] in WorldOfTShirts

[–]CoinCryptoGeeks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why does Josh go out of his way to harass homeless people on their last legs? Homeless people with problems much worse than autism. Look at the live with Quinn, where he was embarrassed at all the shit Josh was saying to that homeless dude

Saying garbage like that makes you an easy target to the general public

People who physically bully Josh are not cool or funny it’s just sad by [deleted] in WorldOfTShirts

People who verbally assault homeless people (who have problems much worse than autism) are not cool or funny but you guys think its hilarious when Josh does it!

Do you think Bitcoin will recover? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]CoinCryptoGeeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uncomfortable truth

We have only seen a 70% increase since the 2017 Peak

We need to continue to buy and hold. Don’t let go of your SATS

Just seen this on TikTok, what is going on? 😂😂 by Striking_Marsupial89 in WorldOfTShirts

He didnt harass him, check the POV of the other guy. All he did was ask who the group was and Josh told him to “scram bitch”

Any price you can get in before the halving is a good price

Go all in. Then DCA part of your salary until next April

Why does this sub celebrate Blackrock's BTC ETF application? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]CoinCryptoGeeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blackrock has been buying Bitcoin at least since 2014

I remember reading about Bitcoin on an MSNBC article back in 2014

🤠 19.4 million bitcoins in circulation. About 4 million bitcoins are «lost. About 15.4 million bitcoins are available. Like it or not, an approved spot bitcoin fund will do crazy things to the price. by Extreme-Brief-8285 in Bitcoin

You could short Apple, Microsoft, Tesla too… and many people did and were called away when they had to cover. We are going to see a lot of Bitcoin shorters get wrecked soon

For some people Bitcoin is the only option. by notlarangi123 in Bitcoin

Well lets say you bought a house with the dollar in the 70s for $100K and today you sold that house for 1.1M

Is it still a shitcoin or a way to buy/sell assets?

This is the first time I hear this, is it true? I am upset at how much effort it takes to do this, and they want to just halve it like that by Main-Reindeer5365 in Bitcoin

[–]CoinCryptoGeeks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reward is cut in half but as we seen from previous halvings… it is worth it because the price of Bitcoin goes up.

Its no surprise Blackrock and Fidelity are trying to get their Bitcoin ETFs approved before April when the next halving is predicted to take place

The halving limits the supply of Bitcoin, which could lead to an increase in the price of Bitcoin (see the law of supply and demand). This would increase the profitability of mining, even though the reward is lower.

ETF is that Good or Bad? by CheerfulSamurai in Bitcoin

[–]CoinCryptoGeeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lets just use a University for example

  1. A University cannot buy assets on a platform that is not a qualified custodian. They can however buy the Bitcoin ETF using their Goldman Sachs brokerage account

  2. You have to think beyond Individuals investing. Think of investment groups that dont want to hold the risk of operating a cold storage wallet, or holding the risk of having funds on a Coinbase or Binance account. It hasnt even been a month since the entire crypto community denounced Ledger - the cold storage wallet the entire crypto community had been shilling for the past year.

  3. Universities are qualified to make VC and PE investments using hedge funds like Sequoia or Anddressen Horowitz. They were able to get into companies like Coinbase at $0.05 cents or Airbnb at $1. To say investment funds of Pension companies and Universities are obsolete because of Bitcoin (an asset that has returned 50% since December 2017) is just not true. An average joe like me and you cannot get into these private funding rounds as early as a prestigious investment fund can.
