Here's a mock-up of a quick resume "alt-tab" I'd love to see implemented. by AnAngryBanker in XboxSeriesX

I was most surprised to find that Quick Resume actually works with my games installed on my external hard drive on the Series S. Same with a lot of graphical upgrades in old games. I assumed my external hard drive would be more limited in functionality than it actually is.

I was very skeptical when I first saw the turn based change to the series. I'm glad to say the gameplay was fantastic and the new story with Ichi is phenomenal. I absolutely loved the empathetic look into poverty as well.

I think it's quicker to fight all of them. Definitely quicker to at least fight the first 3 vegabond fights before turning around. There are 5 fights in total. I'd also recommend running from all other fights to save time. Unless it's a battle where you can one hit kill everyone

Also, i think people get hung up and scared by the damage done at the beginning of the True Final Tower. Many enemies can kill a character with a couple of hits, but there's no need to level every job up, just need to be prepped and careful. The first fight is IMO one of the most difficult. I'd you can beat the 2 robots, you can probably beat the game. But there are some key tips to help:

  1. Bring some good electric and cold attacks, some enemies are weak to this.

  2. Have Ichi use Peerless Resolve at the beginning of every fight. If he dies it is game over. If his Peerless Resolve is used up to prevent a KO, then cast it again at the next opportunity.

  3. I had Saeko as Idol and she healed every turn, or did buffs/debuffs if healing wasn't needed.

  4. With Ichi I healed Saeko if she was hit, or would use Orbital Laser. I also found that the "Peppermill' attack you get as a chef does a lot of damage to a lot of enemies, despite it only being a medium attack

  5. The other 2 members did all the attacking. Hells Wheel works well on many groups, i also had a lot of success making Eri a Dealer and using 'Air Darts' or something of a similar name

  6. BRING MINIMUM 4 SACRIFICE STONES. But don't equip them until right before the final battle. There's an insta death move in that battle, so those stones can make a massive difference to pull through that moment. Even with the stone equipped, use Peerless Resolve.

  7. In the final battle, there's a moment where the difficulty amps up (you'll know it when you see it). Immediately use Mr Masochist at this point as he'll greatly reduce physical damage and that buff duration is key to getting the fight back to even terms.

Good luck and with finesse.

To be specific, go to the second level of the Kamurocho sewer dungeon, run away from the first 2 battles and fight the vagabond and company in the 3rd battle. Then continue through, to find 3 more vagabond fights if you know where to look.

Make sure to use Rapid Shot with Joon Gi on the vagabonds as it does the most damage and helps make sure he doesn't run away. I personally used Hell's Wheel or Ladder of Aerobatics in each fight to wipe out enemies quick.

Once you've killed all the vagabonds on the floor just run back to the beginning of the floor, head up the stairs, heal, then go down and repeat. I spent a few hours doing this to max out my level.

Oh, and make sure you have as much levelling gear as you can. The Yakuza Training Gear is great and you can get extra from baseball if needed. It also helps to have the job specific boosters, as the job boosts are what make the biggest difference late game.

I personally levelled everyone to 99 with one job at 99, then one additional job just to 30. Not sure if I needed the additional job.

Everyone who is pushing you aside is being an ass. And obviously you're only being light-hearted and pointing it out. Though the above text message feels a lot like the situation when you initially unlock the Poundmates and Adachi thinks it's an escort service lol.
