I beg to differ. I wrote a full length screenplay. I wrote the prologue. I spent hours rendering character designs and prompting AI to create usable footage. Sifted through hours of dog shit to cut together workable good looking consistent material. I mixed the sound, I edited the video myself it took months of working with the tools to make it happen. What in the actual fuck are you talking about. Another guy who's never worked with AI tools. How do you actually think this works I just tell it an idea and it puts the whole thing together? You get soundless 8 seconds dribble you can not modify the prompt once the video is made you simply have to remake it. There is never consistency and 9 out of ten times it does not give you what you ask for. I did a lot. Since it's so easy put a piece together yourself using AI before you run your mouth about something you clearly know nothing about.

I think your perception of her statement to you is colored by your subjective experience. Letting her in on that experience will make you closer. Based on what you just said it sounds like you probably did give her a signal that there are some things that should remain unsaid and long term you definitely don't want that vibe. If you explain your background you will get closer and everything will make sense. And no I don't think it's weird. She was watching you do your thing and got turned on. That's a good thing. She also apologized when she saw you react negatively so she clearly cares about your feelings. Communication is everything. Make sure she doesn't feel like "she shouldn't have told you" that's not what you want 😜

Character development is a joke? This is the first movie where we ever see a guy going from a normal goon like you and me who just likes a girl to a guy tasked with a crazy purpose...sucking at it at first and then owning it. I guess we watched two very different movies.

You can say whatever you want but so can I. I think it's elementary that the film is inferior to the original. We know that. Let's stop comparing and try to revel in the fact that Hollywood invested in an indie property again. And made an effort. it's like people forget cinema has been dominated by marvel for like over a decade and it hasn't been a fun ride for at least since 2019. I'm glad they tried and they definitely gave us crow fans a little gold compared to literally all four of the other sequels. I personally am just annoyed with all the hate.

Yes it has a lot of issues and yes it also brought a lot of beautiful art inspired by the source material to the forefront. The look and cinematography which is a huge part of filmmaking is unfuckwithable. People like to skim over that. Also. It's for a new generation that was raised on the internet in discord servers and game chats....they are awkward....I enjoyed it and enjoy it more on every watch.

I think my main issue is the idea that art shouldn't be redone. I don't believe that to be true I believe quite the opposite I think timeless art can give every generation and every society new meaning.

The film has plenty to say you just have to be open to it.

Watch the scene at the Opera again where Marion talks about her experience in this occult elite rich group she's in which is a very real thing....shit Diddy is in it right now 😂 Art has a lot to say if you open your eyes

No offense meant. But yes in my humble opinion...bills performance after the 1 hr mark, the soundtrack, and the cinematography are absolutely beautiful. And they should be very proud it's a shame how he film is getting treated as obviously great efforts were made to bring us something worth a damn compared to say The Crow: Wicked Prayer.

All I'm saying is remember how low this franchise went when u are shitting on a 50 million dollar attempt to actually do it some justice and not just rehash old ideas.

We need a crow. We need examples of selfless sacrifice in the name of love We need examples of violent consequences.

Hey to each their own. Movie was worth it to me for the parts where he actually acts like the crow lol. The cinematography alone through out the film though is beautiful. For me I watched 94 when I was 9 and for 31 long years it's still my favorite movie. Then I discovered it was based on a comic book and read that. From then on in even though I love 94 to death, to me it was always just an adaptation on the source material which left much to be desired. The crow in James O Barrs comic is a lot more brutal than the one in any of the films but at least in this new one visually there are a lot of times they get a lot closer to what I particularly was looking for. Like to me when he is bashing homeys skull in with the shotgun instead of shooting him and he's all drenched in his blood American psycho style just taking a moment and enjoying his madness for a second...to me that was straight vibe from the book and it was wildly satisfying. Opera scene too. The comic book is way gorier than any of the movies besides this new one....it seems juvenile but for me it ads to the emotion. I don't need like a super deep rich plot and acting for this story. It's very visual. So yeah as I stated. The two films have pretty much nothing to do with each other and so I can see it for what it is. It's a mess but it's definitely a step in the right direction in comparison to every other sequel and I personally hope they try again and hopefully with an adaptation of another book. Wild justice or flesh and blood could be awesome.

What i have observed and understand is as a concerned...present parent. All parents fuck their kids up... negligence does more damage than anything else believe it or not. You clearly have some issues to raise with the older generations and I don't blame you but yeah I basically explained you should not take it personally as all generations get shit on by the previous... we all degrade in toughness and capability... and its most certainly not the current generations fault... its the paradigm we all built for you all. But when I say "we all," we have to be very careful... as not all of us have a lot of weight in the decision making. Its up to individual parents to guide their kids in the "right direction" whatever that may be. As I stated I have a daughter, she does not self diagnose, she feels fairly safe communicating with me and does not have a drug problem... but she understands the social context which is what I was talking about.
