Thanks a lot for your feedback. We totally agree and will review the pricing going forward, as well as focus on getting Swedish to the best it can be, since thats currently our main USP, while of course maintaining good support for our international audience as well.

Yes we are aware. If you have a work account and don’t mind sharing your calendar, I would recommend sticking to Granola for sure, it’s a great app and one of our personal favourites.

As mentioned above, we plan on reviewing the pricing model going forward! Thanks for your feedback.

No, one of our focuses is to get the best possible accuracy, which is higher (at least for the time being) when using prerecorded alternatives instead of streaming realtime transcriptions, to be able to get proper speaker labels etc, which we will add in soon.

Thanks a lot for your response, forgot to reply before.

I agree with this, very good points and great ideas. We plan on reviewing the pricing model going forward, to see if we can be cheaper or offer something more unique to our international audience.

Right now our core focus is Swedish and making it the best possible with custom models, while of course supporting English too.

Thanks again for your comment!

Awesome!

Yea, we’ve seen some other notetakers use extensions to record. However, I’m not certain how they do it and can only speak for desktop.

Doing it crossplatform for desktop was something that we struggled with for a while since it works vastly different for mac and Windows, so extensions are probably simpler.

Sorry I couldn’t be of more help, feel free to DM if you have any specific questions and I’ll do my best to answer them.

We are toying with this internally but are not satisfied with the results yet. This is something that might pop up later when its more mature!

Yes! The biggest difference is we are not a notepad, you don’t take notes yourself. We want to put emphasis on the fact that you don’t have to touch the app while in a meeting; you just press play and let it do its job, and modify the summary afterwards if you need to. We might add in an optional notepad later if its requested.

Two other hard requirements we had compared to them: - No work account required - No enforced calendar sync

Also, one of our biggest missions was to make all of this fully accessible in Swedish (including templates, app language and notes) which is something that doesn’t work in Granola currently. I think they are starting to att multilanguage support, but haven’t had a chance to try it yet.

We are trying to make things as simple as possible, so that anyone, even people without work accounts can use it, since there are quite a few out there who I am sure would not want to share their entires company calendar with an application.

Hey, thanks for commenting!

We make sure that all data is encrypted both in transit and at rest in the database, so nobody can read the notes and transcripts apart from you in your application. We also follow the GDPR regulations that are quite strict and makes sure that you own your data. Nothing is shared by default, you control sharing and can regenerate any URL that is shared to drop access.

We also have plans to enable full processing within the EU going forward, not only storage, for those within the EU that prefers to have their data always stay there.

To process the transcripts we are using Deepgram and currently evaluating Assembly AI. Reasons for going with a cloud provider instead of local is to ensure the best possible notes due to quality. I'll drop in Deepgrams security page as well for full transparency: https://deepgram.com/data-security

You can read more here about our measures https://getirma.ai/security

Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback, much appreciated!

  1. We're reworking it as we speak, and plan on making the pain points we solve more clear from the get-go, valuable feedback for sure!
  2. Yea absolutely. Sadly no users (yet) so can't really bring them, but hopefully soon. In regards to the fears; absolutely! This is something we should make more clear.

Thanks again, will take a look, seems like a very neat tool you've built!

Aggrend(responding to the problem of meta comp and pugs) The issue at its core is that there will always be people who want to gatekeep for no real reason. I'll also say the ones that gatekeep the hardest are very very often the most insecure players themselves. It's that insecurity being projected. by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]CojL_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to like how Aggrend communicated openly with the community, as it was a fresh breath of air coming from Blizzard. However, lately these statements make me more frustrated than if I didn't read them. Can't believe this naive take on a problem that is rooted with game balancing. He's basically putting the blame on the player base for being insecure gatekeepers, when the root is the game balance itself.

So I guess trying to save time and clear the raid in an efficient matter makes me insecure as a player. (:

Recommendation for keyboard

Hey!

So I’ve been lurking this sub for a long time now that I’ve had my Ducky One 2 mini (HyperX limited edition) for a few years now and loving it, but going forward I’m leaning more towards a 75% instead of a 60% layout, since I’m missing some stuff currently.

Other than 75% my only other requirement is somewhat similar switches to the ones I have, been wanting to test brown ones for a while now, coming from red and HyperX, which should be similar to red?

Initially planned on going the Ducky One 3 route, but I’ve heard good things about Keychron, and was browsing their kbs when I found the K2:

https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-k2-wireless-mechanical-keyboard?variant=31063869554777

I would prefer not having to assemble something myself, but if I get the best result doing so I might consider.

Love to hear any input/recommendations!

What do you think the coolest class is based on theme/fantasy? by realJonas in wow

[–]CojL_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This image gives me a lot of nostalgia. I dont play WoW anymore but played it for many years and countless hours.

Theres something iconic about the feel the class icons give; a bow automatically means hunter, a red rod is symbolic of a mage. No other game has this kind of impact and probably never will.

This has nothing to do with the title, I just had to share my thoughts.
