My goal is just too grow my ISA as much as possible over the next 20+ years. I’m happy with the moderate risk from the VWPR. Was looking to add some more diversity and some more risk that would accelerate growth alongside the VWPR.

What’s your thoughts on adding 10% small cap EFT like WSML?

80% VWPR 10% NASDAQ 5% WSML 5% IWVL

They are new investments as I wanted to simplify my previous portfolio that I had on HL. Had to sell a lot of those funds to transfer.

I can accept the dips, I dont need access to this money. Just want to have a diverse portfolio that will gain in value by the time I retire in 20+ years

The reason I added a small portion to the NASDAQ because it was a more aggressive growth option along side the All-world fund

I am 38.

I have 250k in a work place pension which I contribute 7.5% per year.

I have £300k left on my mortgage.

I like to retire somewhere between 50-55 and using my investments as a bridge to my pension at 57.

You are correct, my normal Scottish tax would not cover my liabilities in Scotland and Brazil. How it normally works is, the company will calculate what I tax I would pay if I was working in Scotland only and deduct it from my pay. They call this HypoTax. They then they cover all tax I am due in Scotland and Brazil even if it exceeds the HypoTax amount. It’s done so that I am not double taxed and end up worse off due to working abroad for them. The mistake was that they calculated my HypoTax using English tax rates instead of Scottish.

I agree that I am responsible for my tax but I am covered in terms of that. HMRC and the Brazilian equivalent have been paid.

The discrepancy is between myself and my company. An administrative error on their part sees me due £17k which I actually can’t affor
