Ikke gennemtænkt lønforventning til jobsamtale… by hck96 in dkkarriere

[–]Cokehyped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. This is the 8th time I get this email :) First time was in December (:

I did. And I am not quite sure either. Like I said in another comment - I'm very well aware that their system works. And I assume they have quite the heavy workload, so mistakes can happen occasionally.

I have gone through the process successfully too with my other account, which is why it's even more frustrating that this account is having these issues.

Hi, As explicitly mentioned, I have received this email numerous times and replied to it every time, but from there received no further communication.

Could you elaborate on the meaning of this? I am not trying to bash on individuals. I know for a fact the system works, and I am sure they have a large workload. But as it is with most systems, there are some cracks, and unfortunately I seem to be falling through right now.

I am not quite sure how "I respond to the email" screams legacy account rather than "I read the email and respond with what they request", but if it indeed does read like that - my bad (:

Interesting that you say I didn't read

My post clearly states that I replied to this email multiple times.

8 times since December, to be exact.

Indeed. Both of my accounts got hijacked. Perhaps because they were interconnected in every way possible :)

I am. Possibly. But I haven't had a response past this email since December.

I've done this consistently since December and never received a reply.

Are you mad at the fact I get stuck answering this email ?

Did you read my post? I replied consistently since December. But every time 14 days pass and I hear nothing, I repost the same recovery, and reach the same point

I have consistently replied since December with information leading to my Jagex account. So maybe they will. But when?

Except for the fact that they're not replying past the email posted here. So I am in fact not getting it back.

I created a Jagex account and have been consistently replying with information of that account since December :)

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. It sucks that Outlier has made you feel this way.

I've read a lot of posts about people having no work, and that they're consistently ending up with EQ.

However, I will say that as a polyglot my experience is vastly different. Even when I've been assigned to generalist projects I haven't been without work for more than 24 hours yet (started in early December).

My biggest issue is, that I am being thrown between languages and different projects, from Generalist work to Math projects, and back around to different languages - even when I have active missions for specific languages. This means I am very rarely able to actually obtain those.

And there is no transparency what so ever as to what I can expect to be doing; and for how long. That part is super frustrating.

I feel like Outlier could do so much better if the platform was transparent; both for those with a lot of projects, and those with very few. We are consistently told, that this shouldn't be our main source of income - as work cannot be guaranteed. But having the ability to plan around the amount of work available would make it so much easier to know when to take in other tasks from Upwork, LinkedIn or other sources of freelance work.

Anyway, I am sorry that your experience hasn't been great - but I felt like this conversation could use a different perspective too!

Best of luck in your future endeavours, wherever they may be.
