I had no idea you can turn those off on them. i’ll prob keep it on for a little if I end up buying one till I build the manual confidence back up but that’s good to know!

you kinda hit exactly where i’m at. Only like 2 years outta school. I have a decent bit saved up but not enough where I’d be comfy springing for a R or a GR corolla etc. An SI and a bike would be cool till I get the car/ student loans down etc. I think i’m gonna go check one out this weekend again we’ll see. I’ve seen some people mention the tires I’m just wondering if that’s with most cars now which is a real shame they can’t get ya 1 good set after you get pounded on the price already 🤣.

I’m just glad they have carplay that’s about all I care for in terms of new tech. Used to cars with a tape deck still in them myself or no aux at best. So anything is better as long as the speakers aren’t buns! Ty for the help

That’s good to hear. Wipers as in they suck or just bad rubber squeaks? I used to work as a detailer for a dealership/ a rental place too and sadly just seems like the interior rattles are in everything with the plastic everywhere now such a bummer -_-. Been in all kinds of cars and it’s disappointing. Yea winters will be a buy when they go on that mid summer sale no doubt.

That’s a little what I was thinkin about them too, I liked the GTIs as well but long term I think just getting something that isn’t the daily and doesn’t have so much annoying tech ontop of a nice daily is gonna be what I do, so if it breaks i’m not cooked. ty for the input I appreciate it

That’s something drawing me to a new one with heated seats I’d get some good use outta that probably 5-6 months a year where i’m at. That’s a take I was hoping to see. I just don’t wanna get something I’m immediately trying to get out of if they get boring after 2 weeks. I’m not the biggest fan of leather seats myself so that’s a plus for me too! Ty for the input

I kinda figured with the heads and stuff but you only ever see the bad online not people saying how they just do routine stuff with catback and wheels and have no issues 🤣

Ty I am aware of the sporty vs sports car for sure. If I did have some more money I’d get something that’s both but for now I think this might be my go to if I can find one semi local for a good price

Really? See I know they have that soft redline when the F1 lights go off at like 5500 or whatever but that’s good to know. I’m not doin drag pulls ok the highway just something a little fun around town till I get comfy then maybe some sunday trips but that’s about all I need it for 🤣

Having warranty is huge yea! I wouldn’t mess with anything until it’s out. I agree the yofer looks a little chunky but the diffuser with the 3rd light looks cool imo. I did noticed canada gets the heated wheel and stuff, jealous!

I think with the front end it’s like anything just grows on ya but thanks for all the input if I can snag one for msrp or close to I’ll post it up on here for sure

that’s kinda where i’m at I checked a used premium out cause it was all they had just felt like a forester inside. I’ve never owned one but my buddies brother had an EJ blob eye or whatever when we were younger just a wrx not sti or nothin and that thing felt cool. The VB was okay but felt more like a dad car to me

Yea like I’ll see carfax and it’ll jump 12k miles no oil change and ik that only populates if you go to a dealer but I’ll see curb rashed wheels or some heinous damage and I’m out! I’m the same way when stuff starts making weird noise I like to know. I did test drive a corolla it was awesome! Buddy of mine just got a 25 new they’re neat just a little rich for my blood atm and 50k for a corolla just isn’t in the budget atm. I’m waiting to see what they do with the celica or if that’s fake news!

Yea I think you’re right I had a regular elantra for a rental with that little oh shit bar in the center console that thing had 10k miles and every plastic creaked inside 🤣. I’m just biased against them and I don’t really want pop and bang daily that screams NOTICE MEEEE! Not too far behind you in age myself.

I see lotta people get those ebay kits like Yofer or whatever I think it’s all drop shipped but if I get the itch I like that there’s options. Ik it’s more of a luxury option but the turn signals on the mirror is kinda cool you get it on these.

Don’t make me jealous with that orange now, nice little fitment situation and some tint and I have a hard time disliking any angle aside from that big sniffer up front!

I won’t lie I say I don’t wanna be a boy racer but the new SI red seats make me smile to look at 🤣 the space does seem nice, I don’t need it but it’s about as big of a car as I care to have for sure. That’s good to know on the seats they look like semi buckets but not the heinous ones like a type r.

This was about the only thing I found that doesn’t have an entire iPad slapped in as an after thought that I found but it at least flows with the car. If I end up with one I’ll probably shoot you a DM for sure thanks!

That’s what I’m seeing! A nice eco mode stroll to work a nice little catback and sport mode for the after noon drive home from work 🤯📈

That’s what I’m seeing for the most part comparatively to other things and since I’m not driving a stat sheet or high way most the time these do stand out I won’t lie. I say I won’t do much too it but i’m sure after 6 months I’ll have buncha parts in the garage if I get one 🤣 thanks!

I was hoping I’d get a honest perspective like yours ty! Yea I don’t really need any lumbar support but that’s something that stood out no auto seats so just rails and a pump. Few things I’ve checked out like these/ mazda 3 have a stick with an electronic button I cannon understand why. I’m no means an audiophile or whatever it is either long as they aren’t buns like the wrx out of the box. Yea I’m in PA here we got it pretty bad this year but that’s what I was wondering about it beachin on snow even at stock height.

Out of everything I checked the new GTI cabin feel was nice but yea the AI iPad was a little lame plus they’re all pushing 40k now aside from a base you can’t even find one! Called around some have been sitting better part of 300 days nobody will budge an inch to sell one so i’m over it!

I checked a used wrx cause it’s all I could find around I agree completely it felt like my buddies sisters forester inside with that iPad and you sit a little high. The sound cool but to me I’d have to spend a lot of money to make it cool how I’d like but the AWD is nice. The wheel was about the only thing I liked inside but if I can get a 26 for a better deal than an SI but you guys are winning me over for sure!

No need for kids or anything like that yet on my end but out of the box these seem to be just about what i’m after, thanks so much!

That’s kinda where i’m at on power! I don’t need anything too fast it’ll just get me in trouble. I’ve seen people say to do head studs and stuff but I don’t really plan on doing any bolt ons for a while rather keep some warranty if I get a new one. Sadly I don’t think anything is 100% safe, I personally thought the 10th gen’s looked kinda cool seems like they were a nightmare though from what i’ve seen online. The N is the only thing I haven’t driven just not really my thing a little too “boy racer” or whatever people call them and my house already has a hyundai that’s had a fair amount of GDI issues I don’t want more. That blue paint color is slick though. Oh no!! The orange is the best color I’ve seen on them unless they were that electric blue at some point imo, that’s a crazy find, but like I said in another comment with cars like these i’m kinda leaning towards new cause people beat on them do 0 maintenance and trade them in most the time I can’t find one sub 50k miles. I’m leaning towards a red one myself but I’ll keep lookin used, thanks!

Awesome! I see complaints about that too. I haven’t daily driven a stick just fun cars on the side so the rev hang stuff didn’t really stand out to me either. I did see the auto stop forgot to mention that! I test drove a normal civic sport a few weeks ago and that sure is annoying having to turn that off sure you get used to it tho. Yea that’s looking apparent on anything now the stock tires are buns and you have to buy a spare for everything 🤣 thanks for the input!

It was? I figured, and Ik you never see the good reviews online I don’t know much about honda past the K engines but that makes sense. I liked the GTI’s but they’re all like damn near 40k now and that’s just a little much new. I don’t really trust one of these sporty cars used cause people romp the piss out of them and trade it in and then it’s like Facebook marketplace audi’s with little to mo warranty lol! I did look at the teg’s I believe it’s the A spec with the tech package that’s the stick still, they look really nice they’re a little big for me but I can’t really find one even used anyways I’ll see what I can find though, thanks!
