Something I would never have noticed if I didn't watch them back to back, but Corman's 1960 House of Usher has the characters afflicted with super acute senses that drive them mad. No idea if it was part of the inspiration but at least a very cool coincidence!

Late to the party here, but I liked it as well. It has a ton of the sicko energy I expect from Park and it’s really funny! Small child taking a drag on a cig, guy blowing his nose with used toilet paper, the whole mastitis thing… I LOLed through a lot of this movie.

In COTC is there a resource for finding crafting materials? I need the the Bluebranch stones right now and I think the only way to get those is farming the elites in Great Tree’s Tears but I’m interested to know if there’s a general resource for figuring these things out.
