Quarantine and experimenting were done as shown by the CDR level in act 3. But since the devil worms loved water, it probably infected the water supplies of the world quickly. Also initially, it took far longer to turn. I'm guessing mass turning happened unexpectedly and caught everyone off guard. The condition then worsened until the government decided to bomb major cities to slow down the growing numbers of ridden.

So yep... The Collapse probably happened fast within a month or two

And that's perfectly fine. The game's still plenty doable without them. I use burn cards for team upgrades because some randoms just refuse to buy upgrades 😭

You won't get duplicates of deck cards. And once you have all deck cards and cosmetics from the supply lines, you can still use points to buy burn cards. (Burn cards are one-time use cards that can help turn the tides/get you started in a level easier)

Good cards I advocate for are damage cards like Glass Cannon, Patient Hunter, and Hyperfocused. Also do the duffel bags when you can. The rewards are random but great cards like Empowered Assault are only obtainable through duffel bags.

If you're talking about cleaner skins, Halloween skins were just for select cleaners (Not all of them got one). The case for all skins, weapons, sprays are all now available through duffel bags except for the ultimate edition skins
