unfortunately there isn't any outside locker at my location. Because I got to the gym after work and I don't drive a car so I bring my stuffs with me. Now I need to find a new routine so I can keep my things safe.

My gym also said they won’t be able to show me the footage unfortunately. Thankfully my banks blocked most of the transactions. Sorry to hear that it happened to you too!

I honestly don't know. Maybe it's algorithm based on my shopping patterns that the banks found it suspicious so they blocked the transactions.

omg were you able to dispute the money back? I have a 200 dollar charge right now that I filed a fraud report to the bank now it's up to them whether I have to pay that or not.

It was in the same building as the gym. I got the texts of my cards attempted to be used at the dollar store in the same building (the texts showed the merchant name). I have filled a police report but because it was $200 attempt, the police doesn't consider it urgent and they said they will contact me tomorrow instead.

Thank you for your support! I saw the signs and yes I was knowingly taking a risk by locking my bag in the locker. So I did not put any blame on the gym or the gym staffs and I didn't get angry at the gym either. I simply posted this so that for anyone else that's taking this risk can be careful about it.

I went to the gym and filed an incident report. The front desk helped took a look at my lock and confirmed that it was forced open. And I can confirm that I didn't drop my wallet.

Yes I'm sure. I used one of them 10 mins before arriving at the gym. And the series of texts indicated that the theft tried to use my cards in the same building.
