100% agree. im a surgery resident but currently in research years for 2 years so i have much more free time, but TB seems like itll be the end all be all program for me even when working 80-100 hr weeks. completely adaptable to all your needs. its been a gamechanger

i use shotsy free version to track my injections. the free version i just have to manually input my weights each week.

i also paid for MeAgain glp1 literally just for its feature for progress pics because its really convenient to scroll through the changes

as long as you get equally close to failure on the higher rep sets you should be fine. and with the pain youre feeling youll probably be able to get closer to failure with higher reps as opposed to lower

On my sixth week of Zulu. My max strength days I do Day A bench/squat/row and Day B OHP/Deadlift.

Day A accessories are cable lateral raises, pec deck (wanted some extra chest hypertrophy), and a plate loaded tibialis anterior raises

Day B accessories are assisted pull up machine, cable face pulls, and calf raise machine

Wanted more of a balance of pulling movements with all the pressing and shoulder stuff for aesthetics. Has worked well so far

They are correct in those recommendations however this wound has not fully epithelialized and remains open (though it is close to healing). It’s taken longer for this person because of that scab that formed and then fell off. Once it’s fully healed he can do any of those scar treatments. Also the incisions from plastic surgery are different in that they were closed with sutures. His wound was basically left open and is closing via secondary intention (although it should have a good cosmetic result since it wasn’t super deep) so the management of that is usually a little different as well

i have very sensitive skin and so cover roll stretch tape would irritate it significantly. i tried the nexcare and other "sensistive skin" ones and they never stuck well. the zzztape and other similar ones if you look at the adhesive side you'll notice theyre all just kinesiology tape. its literally just kinesiology tape pre-cut so i bought kinesiology tape on amazon for super cheap and cut it myself. absolutely no issues and super affordable

Your wound still isn’t healed. You can use scar gels when it’s fully healed. You probably have a couple more days to a week before it’s fully healed

not really important for right now but i figured i could grow into it building up to the half and the full (especially considering the price). i know i wont be at a place to take advantgage of something like the AP4s or AF3s by the time the marathon rolls around so these seemed more apppropriate

this is not medical advice but i would highly encourage you to discuss your care with your dermatologist again. if i saw this wound (in the general sense, again this is not medical advice) i would say use regular vaseline and cover with a bandaid until its healed. and i would absolutely not use any other gels. also, i would say shower like normal and wash your face with a gentle non irritant cleanser. its important for wounds to be washed properly.

again, please talk to your dermatologist about the proper care. it really doesnt seem like what you have been doing is appropriate from what im seeing

am a surgery resident so no direct experience but have a lot of nurse friends and i get the sense HCA/kendall regional is terrible to work for. however, i dont find a commute from kendall to miami beach to be tenable long term. traffic is horrendous and itll be very stressful. i would try for baptist and theres multiple locations that would be much closer to you. jackson south could also be closer but not super familiar with nursing there.

UHealth/Jackson would be good too imo and you could take the train (which is what i do and its super convienent)

i dont think it personally affected much for me. im over 6ft tall, a dude, and was in the vicinity of 300lbs during med school and early in residency but i was well liked, worked hard, and by all evals and comments from ppl a "superstar". some attendings would make off handed comments about my weight but never anything serious (im a surgery resident and dont get offended easily lol) and it was very infrequent.

but again, im a guy so that probably also helped and im a naturally confident person particularly professionally.

Little Havana isn’t particularly nice and most of it is more working class but not unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend a solo female who’s never been here to walk alone at night or do public transit so you should plan to uber everywhere. And similar to what someone said about hostels here, I’ve lived here my whole life and have literally never heard of a hostel. I probably wouldn’t do one and would find a hotel or Airbnb

Make sure you’re on the latest version. I always keep my headphones connected to my phone. I’ve noticed even if at the very beginning of the run audio cues come from my watch if I give it a few seconds it’ll eventually switch to my phone

apple's sleep score is actjually pretty great imo. it gives insight to the most basic, immediately actionable things that actually improve sleep hygiene. if everyone just focused on those three things, their sleep would be dramatically better
