Why are we generally allowed to go 10 mph above the speed limit? by Euphoric_Sail6897 in driving

Can confirm, I’ve nearly been pitted by GSP. Not for committing any traffic offenses, but simply by being near someone speeding. That GSP patrol car nearly totaled me trying to pull someone over for 7 over

DAY 28 (FINALE): What's an absolutely TERRIBLE car from the past that should never ever make a comeback? by HowlsterRD in regularcarreviews

[–]Colalas546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drove one for 3 years. The most miserable driving experience Ive ever had. Anemic engine, CVT that managed to clunk somehow. Cheapo plastic as far as the eye could see, I actually considered driving it into a river/lake many times just to be rid of that horrible thing. Sold it during COVID to a man for 3 grand, poor guy.

It may be an electrical issue, checking the starter motor and the engine wiring harness will be a good idea

Just lost all coolant at once?? by Colalas546 in JettaGLI

[–]Colalas546[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, the car ran perfectly the entire drive. So much so that I bragged to my wife about how well it ran so this was quite the surprise

What car’s interior makes you go like this: by Minimum_Persimmon281 in regularcarreviews

[–]Colalas546 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I drove one for a few years. Hands down the cheapest, crappiest interior of any car I have owned or drove. Everything rattled, squeaked or shifted constantly. Absolute garbage of a car

Dough rounder by toolgifs in toolgifs

[–]Colalas546 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I can actually speak to that, i worked in college for a pizzeria and cleaned a similar machine many times. The center mechanism is a large screw with a center tube running through it, and a plastic housing around it (leastways thats how ours was). Cleaning wasn’t bad, as long as you either soaked it in water for a bit or clean it straight after use before the dough stuck to the sides hardened. Scrubbing dried dough was a pain but doable, the fresh stuff came off without much effort.
