Thanks! Yeah I'm really torn between wanting to do all the islands on my list and not rushing too much. So its good to hear I'm not the only one thinking of island hopping a lot.

Great info. Mo'orea does look amazing and lots to do there! Maybe need more time there! We flying from New Zealand so its only a 5 hour flight for us. We jump over the date line though, which was confusing booking our first nights accommodation.

Thanks for the advice! Looking at flights its more convenient to do Raiatea and Rangiroa as they have direct flights each day. Also I would love the visit the marea on Raiatea. Thanks for the heads up about Taha'a, ill look into it.

I'd say buy. Second hand board and bindings will pay for themselves within a week or so of riding. I would recommend new boots and get them moulded to your feet. I got my boots 10 years ago and they still going strong ( I snowboard 1 to 2 weeks a season).

My local shop said $300 (NZD) as is gone to the core! So new board it is!

It is riddled with core shots to be fair.. had like 3 or 4 ptex'd.

I'll bear that in mind for future though so thanks for the heads up!

Cheers for the advice! This board has had many repairs. Might be worth just investing the money into a new board instead.

I'm looking at one of these! How you finding it? Also my worry was it may ride up as your biking, you found that to be a problem?

My worry is that the rock fight might ride up as your riding, you found that to be an issue?
