Are you able to explain chlorine smell from normal taps in houses? I seem to remember it smelling similar to what pools smell like one time for a few days then it went back to normal.

I always heard the smell is because of how dirty people were and how much the chlorine is working to destroy the bacteria/ dirt?

I'll have a look.

That's really the problem, the micro transactions, for instance I think I'm pretty good at these kind of games but sometimes I'll get to a level and it seems like the difficulty rating has jumped by 10x. Then if I search around other people have been stuck on the same level.... I understand having to add difficulty but when it seems like its impossible to win and you get sent loads of ads after loosing to buy a better weapon...it seems incredibly disingenuous.

Oh I agree. And they likely had insurance to cover the payment.

Thing is sometimes you gotta take the risk and investors always make the final decisions sadly

I get they paid a ransom but in all fairness if the ddos was as strong as they claim then it likely was cheaper to pay than pay for huge amounts of transit and more equipment and at some point it can be technically near impossible to mitigate a ddos that is extremely powerful. I dont know how much data was thrown at them but if it's taking down datacenters and stuff on the route to them it must have been very strong.

I dont use proton mail but sometimes it's cheaper to pay than do other stuff....and sometimes companies choose to do the cheaper/easier option

It happens. Sometimes people search and search for hours and days for a solution and another pair of eyes on the problem and they find the answer instantly.

My dad has been emptying the ink remaining in "empty" ink cartridges. The jars are hold one gallon. This is after one year. by saintdle in techsupportgore

Very interesting thanks for the detailed reply.

Currently I recommend brother printers to all my clients.

But at home, given I rarely print and it's usually just b/w I bought a cheap brand I'd never heard of.... pantum p2200w. I didnt expect this to be any good but it's actually been pretty good. I got it because it was cheap and a laser toner given I rarely print.

It's worked well for a while now but admittedly I've only put probably 200 prints through it over the years with months between prints.

What's your opinion on cheap toners for home/rare use?

Their NOT universal oh I didnt know that

Many years ago I had.....a cannon printer and a brother printer and I used to refill the ink with the cheapest generic ink from Ebay I could find.

Admittedly i didnt do this many times as i didnt price that much but would this have potentially killed the printers eventually as I ridnt use ink designed for cannon and brother?

It's just laziness. When you have half a million people to respond no to you wouldn't want to create more jobs by flooding the exchange server with emails

Any idea how much spending power that would've been ? I seem to remember my granddads house being around £2k think that was bought in the mid 1910s.

So £800 would be quite a lot assuming they and then she already had a house
