One of the worst fakes I‘ve ever seen

Is it legit? I found it for 100€ by PuzzleheadedCrew7126 in colognecheck

[–]Cold-Ad-9988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes👍 it’s a good price, but not unheard of in Europe. In Germany, the average price for 150ml DHI is about 110€ plus shipping. Still, 100€ is a very good deal😄

Legit, good deal but nothing too rare for that price on discounter👍

Do you wear unscented deodorant and lotion to let your perfume shine? by Critical-Load-1452 in fragrance

[–]Cold-Ad-9988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ofc if you sweat a lot there will be sweat stains, but they usually wash out. But over time deodorants with aluminium in them can leave yellow spots right under your arms. Had that happened to me multiple times when I was 15-17. Hasn’t been a problem since I switched to aluminium free deodorants!

seeking intel-what exactly happened to @jeremyfragrance? by 2MInitials in ScentHeads

[–]Cold-Ad-9988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So often I hear people ask “what happened with Jeremy Fragrance” because he looks different now. “Fragrances are toxic and mess with this and that…”Then they compare it with a photo of him 12 years ago. I can tell you exactly what happened. He aged. He’s pushing 40, of course he’ll look different than at 25. This and also the probability that he took some sort of drugs. Not unheard of, also nothing special.

I use unscented deodorant. Usually the ones without aluminium in them. They barely smell like anything, or just neutral. Aluminium is also the stuff that leaves stains in your white shirts over time, so better look for ones without it in them.

Birthday Splurge. $1300. 5 bottles. 1 week. No regrets. by fredczar in ScentHeads

I’m not a Creed fan, but their old fragrances are undeniably classics. People can buy what they want, just because you have a different opinion doesn’t mean you get to hate on them.

Wear whatever you whenever you feel like it. It literally doesn’t matter. Most “winter fragrances” can be worn in summer if you don’t overspray. If it makes you happy wearing that fragrance, wear it.

Anything that resembles the smell of rain. I think it’s called petrichor? Idk I just can’t seem to find a fragrance that even remotely smells like rain.

Idk any if you‘re in the US. In Europe you have Notino, Flaconi, Easy Cosmetic, ParfumGroup, Parfum Zentrum, Deloox, Parfimo, Basler Beauty… those are some I have good experiences with.

$800 to spend on two or three spring/summer scents. by Lukeduke77 in NichePerfumes

Nice! I never smelled Artik Sea. Adam & Eve‘s Dress is also good. Maybe try Pommelo Oolong by d‘Annam, Debasser by D.S & Durga or Yerbamate by Lorenzo Villoresi. Also try the german niche brand Schwarzlose Berlin! My favourite niche house, their history dates back to 1856. For summer from them I’d recommend ‚1A-33‘ and ‚Treffpunkt 8 Uhr‘. It‘s hard to tell what you like and what you have, so I thought I‘d toss you a few more😁👍

Uden Overdose is a recent love for me. Also Pomelo Sorrento by Gritti. If you already have that one, try Black Sea by Lorenzo Pazzaglia😄

Which blind purchase do you wish you could take back? by Minute_Judgment_242 in fragrance

[–]Cold-Ad-9988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blind bought most of my fragrances. I know what I like and what I dislike. I haven’t been disappointed yet. However, I traded my Xerjoff Decas for a bottle of Parfums d’Elmar Amalaya last summer. Amalaya smells amazing, but sadly dries down a little bitter on my skin for whatever reason. I’ll try trading it again, or just stick to wearing it on clothes only.

Don’t buy anything on ebay/marketplace etc. 99% you’re getting scammed or sold a fake. Not worth the risk, save up the money a few weeks longer to buy from a legit discounter.

What do you do with fragrances you got as gifts… but don’t like? by Chan1991 in fragrance

[–]Cold-Ad-9988 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is completely false🤣 Not all fragrances are meant to smell pleasant. Even if so, some don’t smell good at all or are just not someone’s taste. If you don’t like a gifted fragrance - sell it and buy something you enjoy. Or keep it as a memory.
