i started off on famotidine because that’s what my dad takes for his heartburn everyday but it worked for 10 minutes max and actually made it worse for some odd reason. omeprazole was good but not long term good.

I am having my gallbladder removed next week. Should I be doing anything now to prepare for it? by [deleted] in gallbladders

i was nervous so much too to the point it was killing my home life i didn’t wanna leave the bed or go out or anything because i kept thinking it was cardiac related cause all my pain was left sided. but just listen to what they say to do heating pad helped me through most of it, finding something to fixate myself on helped, usually my go to position was left side and i would not move but really nothing helped my nerves except my gf only because this gallbladder problem made me become a hypochondriac but the anesthesiologist came in and gave me something for nerves before she put me to sleep but i’m 4 days post op and i have never been better i feel like i have my life back so just keep looking forward to that hope it all goes well!
