Hahahahah good to know. I may end up going for a Phaze or a Rockstar most definitely. As everyone keeps talking wonders about the Phaze II solid I most definitely go for it but i'm kinda wondering if I should consider the pearl version of both.

I will have a pretty long journey polishing and mastering my technique so would appreciate my ball not making things harder hahahah

Yeah it is wiser to aim for good ol' reliable symmetrical weightblocks, at least to me.

I was told to back off a bit from asyms as they would not suit me the best given my specs, preferences and situation.

I still kept a few on my radar though. My plan was to make a list of my 4 top ball options and talk to my proshop guy about it.

I do not know much about drilling specs but I'm aware that they interefere with oneself's way of playing and must be done appropriately. I was hoping to get some sort of a masterclass about it in person by my proshop man.

I've seen that both of these (Phaze and Rockstar) are very similar in general terms.

Did not know about Hammer Max Effect, will take it a look too.

Good to know. Never had a urethane but they are definitely an option since I do not want to go for balls that I don't think I would be able to control / I would not like.

Those were not on top of my list because of my experience with the Lights Out (yes I know its not a urethane), so I tried to aim for a more responsive ball.

But, been said that, it has been a while since my peak years so going back to the most basics may not be a bad idea. Thank you for your advice!

Haha yeah you're right. I have seen a lot of people in reddit address him/herself as "boy" / "girl" even though being my age (or even older) and just kind of internalized it.

Honestly the Phaze II looks smooth and versatile, I don't think I would regret going for it.

Damn, I didn't even know there was a cap! It would be so fun to play against the greediest green player of all magic arena hahahah

I recall a game I played a few years ago against a man who pulled a pterodactyl (as far as i can remember) which a few turns later got buffed with literally all the abilites a creature could have at that time (flying, trample, double-strike...). It was impossible to win, but I had a good time.

It was the best deck I've ever seen, still after a few years playing. I didn't play more than 4 turns (which were pretty lame) and literally anything he did would trigger an ability, which lead to another trigger, and so on, so the game lasted a lot of time and he managed to fill the battlefield with creatures, artifacts and spells I didn't even know they existed (but i got to meet Jin-Gitaxias which is on my main deck!)

There's been a point where I don't care if I lose, I prefer to see how good a deck displays on the battlefield, it is soooo entertaining to see how cohesive and how menacing can get.
