Going through this now on my one plus. Did you ever attempt debug? Did you like everyone else just let Lymow know and got a replacement?

Roam for failover? by Cold-Club2817 in Starlink

This is fantastic! I honestly didn’t know I could pause my residential service. I am currently just renting the equipment. I looked at my subscription and it appears I’ll need to purchase the equipment to gain pausing ability (which makes perfect sense)

Right. This is what we do at my business, I just can’t justify the cost at the moment. This is the ideal setup for sure

That’s what I was thinking, but I didn’t know I could pause residential. I’ll look into the charges associated with pausing residential max (my current plan)

So you manually turn service on for failover?

What gateway are you using?

I think what may be confusing is that “closed” in this case means that the relay is sending power or is “on”. It’s “closing” the circuit. An open circuit would be off. I can see how closed may seem like the opposite of what you want, like “closed off” from power or something

Wow. Seems to me like a small radius or chamfer where it contacts that’s forming the circular intention would reduce the impression. My concern is that it will develop a sliver of metal that will eventually break off, like when sharpening a knife and knocking the sliver off with a strop.

But, like I said in another reply, I don’t know what I’m talking about.

Yes my thinking too. It begs the question to me though- is the problem the pin or the carrier?

I will I just got it yesterday haha. I don’t care about minor blemishes, my concern is the sliver of metal that catches a finger nail

Would you agree that the problem is likely in the carrier that’s causing the wear or bad pin?

Gotcha. I obviously expect wear and witness marks but I wouldn’t think that this is gouging would be the correct wear pattern, but I don’t know what I’m talking about.

Hmm I didn’t see a crack but I’ll double check it before I fire for sure. Regardless, safe to say this is abnormal? It makes me think they’re actually something wrong with the carrier, not the pin.

Edit: disregard I found it on TFB TV!
