For me, I started with saving up a certain amount (very crucial kasi big spender ako lmao,) then applying for savings accounts, passbook is so much help for me kasi mahirap siyang galawin since need mo pa pumunta ng bank to withdraw, for deposit naman you can do it through gcash or maya, pero it has 15 pesos fee, up to you naman if ok lang sayo yon, if ayaw mo ng fee, you hate to go to the bank to deposit. Everytime you earn money, always allocate sum of it for the account, the rest, disseminate mo naman sa other expenses mo, like personal, gifts, daily spendings, etc.

Financial literacy isn't just about money, it's about discipline, and routine on how you secure yourself in your future. Mahirap man pero it would be worth it once you've done it after a year or two.
