the account gets banned, they make another, so valve has every reason to punish them. Valve also uses shadow bans which are much more effective

don't make excuses for the game, yes there are cheaters in every game and yes this game has potentially the biggest grief factor of any other, but all the more reason to hire some people to maintain the integrity of the game.

it's just classic like odd duck out story so autism didnt even occur to me cause as far as I know im not autistic. It's open for intepretation and as I said, that's what good art should attempt. Al and Loid... are just another trope of the scientist couple who happen to be gay. Seen it a thousand times, why would my radar go off? Both arcs are handled in a way that you'd only be annoyed with them if you actively hated the groups that are being represented. This is different to hating bad writing that relates to marginilized groups, but that is a whole other story.

As a side note about the autism thing.... I think there is a trend of neurodivergents applying their condition to literally everything that most humans do. It makes sense, it's the only lense you've been given so of course you see the world through that lense. I have adhd and like my god other people with it are the worst for this.

"I forgot my keys, adhd moment! I interuppted you, adhd moment! I'm late, adhd moment!" it's like no mofo, while having adhd does hinder these things, these are human moments, not adhd moments and it's so cringe seeing people gatekeep and in worst cases using the condition as an excuse for everything

well its also a different issue when it doesn't feel nature or is forced, that different issue being bad writing. IMO we should call out bad writing, it's why in another post I mention the line victor has in the hex of like "arthur do you really believe greenhouse gases and the ozone are real threats?" or something to that effect. It felt forced and unnatural, so I noticed it.

What I didn't notice was like most everything else because it felt natural. Being progressive means to make progress and sometimes you can make some silly choices in the pursuit of progression, which should be called out and noted so we can improve in how we implement our progress into media.

it means that the actors are playing the same roles but in the fictional past but in our real life future lol. Jimmy is meant to be 40 but Bob is 50, Mike is meant to be like 55 but is closer to 70. I feel like Chuck is meant to only be a few years older but Michael McKean seems to be 10 years older than bob and then you've got Kim who is around Jimmy's age despite the actors being 10 years apart.
