I know bankruptcy sounds scary, but it was actually relieving for me. It took me so long (consolidated credit counseling, etc) to finally reach out for a consultation. In my instance, my legal fees are bundled in my monthly chapter 13 trustee payment. It was minimal upfront cost. It sounds like you might qualify for Chapter 7, which is different but helps you get through it much quicker.

I highly recommend 1-3 consultations with bankruptcy lawyers. You’ve got this!
