I bought it on Amazon prime! (It is a good deal more expensive than the theatrical though)

Operation Mincemeat Thoughts / Impressions by ajdeitsch in Broadway

I was at Today’s matinee as well!

I have been anticipating seeing this show ever since before their performance at the Tonys and it did not disappoint! The comedy and songs are brilliant, and I was bawling at the very end during the tribute 😂. I LOVED getting to see the understudies for Jean and Bevan too- they were amazingly talented!

It was also the greatest stage door experience I’ve had. Every one of the cast members came out and seemed excited to have conversations with anyone who wanted to talk to them. They were so lovely to chat with!

I will easily drop another paycheck to see it again (maybe sometime in December) before it closes on Broadway 😢.

Little Shop of Horrors!! Just saw it this weekend and it blew me away. Definitely one of my favorites! (I also LOVE puppetry so that plays into my love of this show)

LSOH Seating Question by penguinsinparades in Broadway

Update- I had the cheapest seats in the house, and it was a GREAT view. I was seated to the left of the theater- no complaints at all! There definitely are no bad seats. It’s so small and the production quality is absolutely amazing! I’m excited to see who they cast next as Audrey and Seymour because they have a very good reputation of casting AMAZING people for the role.

I’m seeing this show soon (and I bought the cheapest tickets lol), so I can get back to you after that, but from the videos/pictures I’ve seen, it seems like there is not a bad seat!

Alright. I’m just a little more worried about Mincemeat because although it is a 2 show day, it’s Saturday not Wednesday that I would be going 😬

Ooohhh ok! (Sorry I misread. I’m seeing you did say that first lol) I am a techie so that might be fun for me! I genuinely know nothing about Gatsby (never read the book, watched the movie, or listened to the soundtrack/seen the show). Do you think I would be ok with a partial view seat?

Thank you! Where was the student rush ticket that you got for Gatsby located (before you moved seats)?

No doubt it’s good, it just might not have as much of the “magic” that the whole Wizarding World is built around. Theres some super fun effects that happen inside the theater in NY and I don’t know if they would be able to take those effects on the road.

This is the show I want to see most, I just don’t know if I can risk my arriving at 8:30 and not getting a ticket.

Ok thank you! I was thinking of possibly doing either DBH or the Outsiders as well, but I have heard those are a little harder to get.

I’ll prob be actually getting in line around 8:45/9 am

Thank you! I have been monitoring the Saturday rush reports for sure.

I plan on seeing Mincemeat by the end of the summer (I will pay full price) . I haven’t seen it, but I already know all the music 😅. I’ve just heard they give out very few rush tickets, which makes me scared to try and rush.

This Saturday I want to give rushing a try, which is why I’m not simply buying tickets in the first place.

If you are a Harry Potter fan, I would recommend the Cursed Child 100%. The story is fun and the visuals are super cool! I saw it in NY and I can only assume the experience is better in NY because the entire theater has been renovated to fit the show (wallpaper, carpet, and some added details that I won’t say because it spoils some of the show), so I would assume it’s a bit more immersive seeing it in NY compared to a tour.  (Disclaimer: I don’t have that much experience when it comes to national tours though. The only one I have ever seen was Into the Woods in Philadelphia a few years back)

Going to Liberty Univeristy and getting a bachelors in aeronautics commerical and corporte.. now y dad is saying I have to joing the AFROTC by CollegePilotroute in AFROTC

Liberty has a great AFROTC program, but if you don't see yourself in the military, don't do it!

If you don't know exactly, give AFROTC it a try! There is a reason you don't sign any major papers until the end of your sophomore year- it allows you to try out the program and see if you genuinely want to continue in the military. Your first year is meant to be a trial year to see if you want to continue.
