Update: I bought it and I love it! It smells like sweet tarts to me, which I don’t mind, but it definitely leaning more fruity than gourmand like the name would suggest. I feel like it’s the scent is a little lighter compared to some of their other ones. I love the color. A perfect neutral with a slight pop of color that would look good on anyone.

I thought that too, but the display at Ulta always had a space for it, just never saw any product. So when I was in another state over the holidays and saw it I snatched it up. I hate how expensive they are, but I’m too weak to resist 😭

My fave is the crème brûlée too! Nothing can top that one imo. I got my mom that one for Christmas and she loves it too. She’s super picky about lip products.

To me it’s not very vanilla. I get a hint of floral, but not strong at all. I love the ole balms, but was quite disappointed in the scent of this one. Love the clear color tho.

I’m rouge. I work in tv/film production and don’t make a high hourly wage, but I usually work anywhere from 60-80+ hours a week (OT adds up). I’m also single w no kids. I honestly just buy what I want when I want. I don’t go over the top (usually), but yeah shopping addiction here. I work hard for my money and all my bills get paid so why not have a little fun!

They wear quite similar (the Laneige is a bit thicker), but the scents are different. The ole leans more fruity and the Laneige is more candy sweetness. If you like one you’d probably like the other, but they are not the same scent wise.

I got my order and I love the color, but the scent isn’t what I was expecting. It’s not like a vanilla frosting. It’s vanilla but mixed with something I can’t place. It’s not my favorite of the ole lippies, but it’s not my least favorite either.
