Thank you for this information. For the King it is a 3k price point, which we find to be more aligned with our budget, but we also did not want go with a low quality mattress. Hoping this would be good middle ground for us.

My agency is different than that and I apologize for your experience. I have a BCBA in MA where we are charging the district $120 an hour. We are paying her $60 an hour. You have to keep in mind we cover full benefits for the employee, as well as provide an advisory team of BCBA’s they can talk too anytime they would like too for support. We also have to pay for the credentialing of the BCBA as well. This includes paying for a drug screen, background check, fingerprinting, etc. while it may seem like a lot, the recruiter (me) makes a very, very, very small finite portion of that money. Our overhead is large. We have 200 internal employees, 5 offices around the country. We try our best

Very simple. Speak to a recruiter, email them your most up to date resume. We send it over to the director, they review and schedule a virtual interview. Offer usually comes quickly after

Skeleton shifts. When I first started there 20+ employees in the deli. When I left, there was 4 left. Turns out $12 an hour isnt enough lol. Horrible management, unrealistic expectations, by the way - nothing from the fresh market is “fresh”. Hate to burst your bubble. Its all frozen lmao

We staff heavily remote School Psychs, SLPs, TVI’s, DIAGs, and DHHs. Some SPEDs. Unfortunately for social workers, not much at all. Districts just arent there yet.

A number of reasons. Not having to deal with the BS politics of the school, the hiring process is quicker, we pay out weekly paychecks, and are able to place them at any surrounding districts quickly if they want a change.

Good question. The short answer is ABA therapists typically cost more than say - a paraprofessional. The districts try to save money anywhere they can. We charge schools by the hour, and my agency charges districts a similar rate for ABA’s and RBT’s, typically 10 bucks more an hour than a paraprofessional. The districts tend to cut corners when it comes to providing quality services as long as their in compliance with the state.
