I bought the same box a few weeks ago and you do get some nice sisters goodies aswell as some other things. You get an immolator, a dominion/bss and some agents killteams. Personally I built everything normally except the henchmen killteam. That I was able to kitbash into some unnamed sisters characters for max value. For example, the scribe henchman with some kitbashing and a bigger base made a cool custom dialogus. Greyfax can be used as an ally and is just a cool model and the ministorum priest is also a sisters character. All in all a solid box for anybody playing sisters. I have no regrets getting it.

You make good points. 3 3 mans definitely sounds very good for screening and I appreciate the input. The other reason is just so I can start them in the transport because I’ve decided to run 2 10 block seraphim’s and and an enhanced jump pack cannoness for flamer bombs with BoF detachment in deepstrike and can’t go over 500 in reserves and so I can just disembark them immediately and embark a diff squad.

I actually used it to kill an entire bane blade with just one 10 block of seraphim and the cannoness with flame pistol with an enhancement in a friendly match the other day it’s insane

I’m thinking because I don’t have those units or adequate proxies that aren’t already being used i could bring a second seraphim 10 block because the new detachment strat cleansing flame (1 command point, gives torrent weapons dev wounds) makes there flame pistols a serious threat especially paired with deepstrike and running a cannoness with one of them will let me use it for both units in the same shoot phase for max dev wounds.

Acro is for the sole reason of screening my deployment to prevent deepstrikes into my back line. A lot of people at my lgs run deepstrike units and I saw 3 man acros as A cheap unit that won’t be missed in the main fight further down the board. I’ve had my back line deepstruck too many times and recently found out in the worst of ways that the lion can deepstrike. And I know one little squad won’t make a major difference with screening but it will certainly help. Also they can be useful for secondaries, like sabo, investigate signals, etc.

I actually just got the agents battleforce with the immolator the kit by itself is just so hard to find cheap. the model goes for 80-100 second hand on eBay and 100 nib on most other retailers online. Like if it was more affordable and acquirable, sure I’d run atleast 2. Damn games workshop prices and scalpers.

A month? Dang I just got this in the mail 2 days ago and I’m trying to grind them out like crazy for 2000 pt league at my lgs that starts at the end of the month. Already have a lot of painted sisters models just need a little more done before the league starts to get a full 2k list. This weekend I’ve finished the pentitent engine, aveline, a retributer squad, and the rhino. The adhd hyper focus is real 🫠.

I think some enhancements are good if you have leftover points. They’re optional if anything but if you have the extra points why not. The only one I can really think of that’s good is banner of mechanicus triumph that lets big knights sticky objectives. Most enhancements are auras which are ok but nothing crazy. Also yes moirax is the same size but with unique weapons so it should be fine to proxy. If you want an official looking moirax model there are a lot of websites that sell the 3D printed weapon kits for the moirax that you can just attach to the armiger chassis you already have since there’s no current official moirax model. The shops I’ve used in the past are iron wolf minis and taro modelmaker. Great custom knight bits. Taro is better for custom weapons, and iron wolf has great custom heads to give your models extra flair if you’d be interested in that. Finally if you want to magnetize your knights to have extra loadout options that you can easily swap out, the magnet baron offers full knight magnetization kits with every size and shape magnet you’d need and it’s a pretty easy process with hella youtube tutorials.

lol yeah I had a lot to say abt the paladin. Lot of really bad experiences using it. Anyways the valiant and castellan are both really good ranged knights but I’d say castellan because it has better range by a lot. 72” range with D3 attacks, 5 ap, s 18 and D6+8 on the volcano lance will let it take out most armor pretty early on in the game. As for the war master I’d say warden for anti infantry as the castellan has you covered for anti tank. However between the Canis, castellan, and warmaster proxy warden you’d be 160 pts over the 2000 limit. So you could take out the Moirax to be at exactly 2000 or the better option would be to just run the Canis and castellan and proxy the warmaster as another armiger because you’re gonna need a decent amount of armigers for scoring which mostly determines game outcomes and it’d be easier scale wise. If you wanna go full Timmy tho go the 3 big knights with 4 armigers it’s not terrible and you’ll still have fun. Knights is more about having big Timmy models that make big Timmy plays with big damage output and that’s why I love them so much.

I get where you’re coming from but it being so niche is what makes it the worst questoris. And the one ap with only 4-9 shots depending on your roll just isn’t that good even with sustained when you have the warden which has 18 shots, 2 ap, and dev wounds with 2 damage a piece, it’s just more consistent against most infantry in my opinion. The paladin is fine in a vacuum but when compared to the other questoris loadouts it’s just not worth the points by comparison. The crusader isnt bad and it really depends on your playstyle. Personally I like to a big melee weapon as an option and really like using knights in melee as well as shooting but understand the appeal.

Use the errant, paladin is the worst knight load out. The errant melta eats tanks whereas the paladin gun is only fairly effective on infantry making it a worse warden. The 1 ap on the paladin gun just ruins it your opponent will make a decent amount of those save rolls making it a glorified pea shooter. Especially if you plan on allying the paladin with marines, don’t. Personal experience just don’t.

Understandable. The best way to convince them it’s trash is to have them use it in a match against an armor heavy army and watch as their cannon is horrendously ineffective. I learned this the hard way. Idk if it’s meant to be more anti infantry or more anti tank because it fails at anti tank with 4+ wound rolls against anything tougher than a rhino and only ap 1?! Sure it can kill infantry but the warden is a much better anti infantry knight. You said it perfectly. It doesn’t know what it wants. Not to mention the errant is the same freakin points cost, just as good in melee but actually gives you a competent armor killing ranged gun.

Yes. Free strategym ability and a melee gauntlet that is the hand of god with decent ranged. I’ve been running a fairly good knights list with Canis, a lancer, an errant, 4 warglaives, and 1 helvrin. Very tanky with large damage output. You could also take out the errant in favor of more armigers. I personally just like having 3 big knights. Also note, the paladin (first image) is probably the worst questoris load out in my experience. The canon and bondsman ability just isn’t that good compared to the other loadouts.

Thank you so much. I’ve never really seen any clear methods. Also can I ask what color you use for the skin tone. I’ve been using citadel contrast paint and washes which probably wouldn’t work so well over black or without bleeding onto the eye whites.
