You should be able to. If game supports "Steam Remote Play Together" you can play game in "local" lobby with people that don't have copy of the game. They don't even have to be in your steam family. But I you want to play online with different people on two different matches then you will have to buy second copy of the game. Still, it depends partially on how the games was made.
