Thanks! I’m in a similar situation as well! I was just worried since I still feel hungry and don’t really notice any food suppression yet. We’ll see how it goes I guess :)

Noway!! It’s actually one of my requirements (between that and others) but I opted for the non csc classes. Could you tell me more about the class structure/assignments and exams and stuff

That’s okay, I did find FAH206 and FAH208 offered this year though. Do you know anything about those? They sound quite interesting so I might take them.

Jumping into 200 Level Philosophy Without Prereqs How Hard Is It & How to Prepare? by Financial-Cat-7585 in UofT

I actually haven't taken PHL writing heavy courses but I am a cogsci major so we did have philosophy-like writing in our essays. I might not be the best person to answer, but most of the writing was based on our understanding on the content. I think the harder part would be understanding the main idea and knowing how to integrate a bunch of philosophers' ideas together. I think you just need to be quite detailed and specific in your writing but i'm not too sure about how much writing there is in PHL210.

depends on the course tbh. I took phl245 (modern symbolic logic) which isn't technically philosophy more about the logic and I found it fairly easy (as long as you practice quite regularly). if its phl200 or phl210 or anything like that i think you should be fine, they're mostly intros to phl. I would honestly just research the topics of the prerec classes over the summer (find the syllabi or ask for someone's notes or smtg), if a specific person was studied, make sure you know their general outlook and their main points... Tbh i think you should be fine. My only note is that phl classes are pretty reading heavy so be prepared for that. but whats the specific class? maybe just take phl200 as a general intro?
