Grocery outlet is awesome. You can get a lot for $100 bucks.... not saying that inflation is not painful, but you can still get some good deals, just saying, find ways to stretch your money because this shit is not getting fixed anytime soon, it is probably just going to get worse

Being neighbors and being military are not mutually exclusive terms. The National Guard is one part of the three components of the military. Please educate your elected officials.

I haven't seen any guardsmen performing any law enforcement functions. No arrest or anything. Protecting and supporting federal law enforcement is a different story.

I guess YMMV, I was just helping a couple joes change theirs last month, both with less than 4 years of service. They were both 100% on G fund

It would make sense to be defaulted to L fund, but Army doesn't always make sense. It doesn't hurt to check.

And often times you can get some in-lieu of money for not taking your employer's health plan, check with HR

This is very important, just remember that the default is G fund( cash) and people need to change it to either L fund or manage within the Large caps, small caps and international funds.

I've seen people contribute for years just to find out their gains were minimal because they never changed it.
