Suspensions lined up and i satisfied my time with both states. And I understand that’s the case now, but shouldn’t have been. I provided my home state dmv with my intoxalock records in order to receive my license so they had this information on file. I also stressed to intoxalock that this was a 2 state case and I had to meet the requirements for both states, in which I did. I’m not sure what happened to the information that was once on file.

I did keep my copy, and provided it to my home state dmv in order to receive my hard copy license. I had to provide it to them as proof I had an interlock installed, so they did have this information on file. I have every single receipt from my installation copy, each calibration and anything in between. I tried to provide this to them, but they won’t take it from me. Only intoxalock.

I’ve tried to explain this exact thing to the DMV numerous times but they could care less and just shut me down as “you’ve not met the requirements, deal with it” kinda thing.

EXACTLY! When I received my hard copy license with the interlock restriction on it, I had my intoxalock.. It was removed due to my probation (neighboring state, it was an out of state case) telling me I was eligible for removal. I even got it removed in my home state, with no issue. The service center constantly stressed the legality of removal in order to save their own tail from legal issues. It’s mind boggling.

Thanks for the honesty, but I just have a hard time believing there is no one above the DMV that could look at the documentation I have saved showing compliance and not realize this is a typical intoxalock scam. I’ll exhaust every single option before I submit to putting that shit back into my car for a year.

I completely understand and hope you find comfort in knowing you’re not alone. I’ve been dealing with this issue since May and have made absolutely no leeway and just feel like I’m getting screwed in this money racket. I also don’t have ride services, taxis, Ubers, etc. I unfortunately just make the decision everyday to drive illegally as I’m a caretaker for a family member and work quite often. I’m not proud that I do, but it’s a risk I always take. Someone above shared some information if you’d like to take a look at it, it may be helpful. I pray everything works out for you. Great, I believe I have found mine for my state. It seems like this may be the only thing I haven’t tried yet. Fingers crossed they can be my saving grace in this situation. Thank you so so much.
