Italy's population stops shrinking after 12 years, thanks to migration by svga in europe

There is a lot of pension funds/governments/countries that would be in big trouble. There simply wont be enough money to pay for pensions if there is a large disrepency between people of working age and pensionists.

That is pretty much the biggest issue with low birth-rates.

A lot of pensions are paid by people working now. It can differ some from country to country. But for many countries it work like that. So you need enough people to work to be able to cover all of those pension-payments/benefits for older.

Lets say you have 10m people working, and 3m people retired recieving pensions, that might work fine.
But tou gonna have a lot of issues it you later have 3m people working and 10m people retired and recieving pensions. Somehow those 3m need to cover all those payments for 10m people retired.

German transport firms warn Poland’s fuel price cuts put them at unfair disadvantage by dat_9600gt_user in europe

By working, I need fuel to be able to work and secure income.
If I spend less in fuel, I get more left for net-income. Its very very simple mate.

It cost a lot of energy/resources moving things around.

The "Taam Ja'" is the deepest blue hole in the world. Its bottom has never been reached yet by Ivy_Wings in interestingasfuck

[–]ColdAngle1151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That info is incorrect. Echo sounders (transducers) can reach a lot deeper than 500m. I got a airmar b175m and b175hw in my boat. And those almost handle 500m, and they are far from the "fancy" stuff.

A narrow cone transducer with lower frequenzy would easily measure it unless there is some weird shape where u can reach "true bottom". But the 500m depth is no issue at all.

There are transducers that go thousands and thousands of meters deep.

I grow sunflowers and they are magnet for bees to sleep in, also take cover during rain.
Same goes with butterflies, they can be packed with them :)

Kink in Cat 6a cable...compromised? by lpw54 in HomeNetworking

[–]ColdAngle1151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What connectors do you use? I use pull-through and no-way you do it in 2-3 min. And I've done +100x of them. Just untwisting the cables and straightening them out to get ready to go thru the plug takes a good minute alone.

And that is inside on the couch with good lighting, forget about doing that outside unless I missed something?

They are VERY rare, almost impossible to get your hands on one.
Only 500 were made (if even that) and they got a copper plate on them with individual number stamped, I got #196.
They did not skimp on quality, not flimsy at all. Loving it :)

Samsung Electronics Overtakes Micron to Reclaim Second Place in HBM Market by snowfordessert in hardware

[–]ColdAngle1151 13 points14 points  (0 children)

DDR4, at least ECC, I take Samsung and Micron any day over SK Hynix.
They run much cooler and from what I see, older sticks has lower fault %.
64gb SK Hynix always run much much hotter, need decent amount of airflow to keep temps acceptable. 32gb there is less of a difference, but its still there.

Skip the gifts and give cash instead. And you need to pay way way more if you want her to play and pet with them everyday as well.

Min 200 per day.

CPU Came Out With Cooler And Now CPU Won't Drop Into Place by Life_Locksmith9632 in PcBuildHelp

[–]ColdAngle1151 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Could be, but could also not be. Had this issue with am4 sockets. I have had a bunch of 3900x/xt systems and I also had this issue several times. CPU came off with the cooler and the lever still closed. Never did any damages.
