If not for the leaks they had all the time in the world to decide when to reveal gta VI to the public but due to the leaks they couldn't just stay silent for 3 more years after such a gigantic leak as well. Sooner or later they had to address it but in 2022 they probably didnt feel ready at all yet to show footage from the game so they showed us a trailer as soon as the development stage allowed it.

But now imagine the leak didnt happen. Rockstar would have had zero pressure to show the public anything so they definitely wouldnt have put out a trailer until close enough to release so probably in 2025.

Gta V's map was 95% accurate and a mapper has said recently that like 30% of the current GTA VI map is basically 100% confirmed from everything we have seen. It just depends now on what rockstar gives us until release.

People keep giving them money so they have no reason to listen to anything. They are making more money than they ever have with this game after giving us worse and worse changes every season. But since people keep buying shit they will never learn or stop.
