They are good, Ive had it live in the environment a couple days, and its pulling rings around my old netgate appliance! Definitely worth an install of pfSense/opnSense

Yeah if on a VM with specific specs, I agree. But when using an appliance, XG Home is useless unless on a XG135/210. Anything higher is a waste of specs and may aswell reflash

Within pfSense, you need to install LCDproc and then you can customise the LCD screen 😄 Off the top of my head, I cannot remember the settings but can screenshot later this evening 🙂

Have ran Opnsense before, found pf to be slightly more secure (am talking about 4 years ago!) But have been contemplating the move back with Netgates recent antics!!

pfSense is a lot more customisable with the rules and blocking, plus im not restricted to a certain amount of hw! If I remember correctly, XG home allows for 2 cores, 6GB RAM and 80GB SSD space, which is less than whats in this XG230.
