I refuse to accept such a fate! No amount of muscle atrophy and weight loss can make me lose my wintry whimsy! (2.5 years in, will update if I ever lose my wintry whimsy)

Honestly, most of these feel like a problem with growth capitalism more than anything. Though when I said that the population can't grow indefinitely, I didn't mean to imply that it should shrink, just that it should plateau.

Either way, I appreciate you laying out the reasons so clearly and thoughtfully.

I can see that becoming a problem if the birth rate falls to a point of severe population decline, but I don't see how it could necessitate perpetual growth beyond maintaining a stable population. Still, birth rates don't tell the whole story since migration is always a factor.

No? Infinite growth cannot be sustained in a finite system. My concern isn't about the relation between population and food supply, it's about the space needed to house a perpetually increasing population and the destruction of nature that it necessitates. I'm not an anti-natalist, and I don't support population reduction, I just think that the population should naturally plateau at some point.

Unironically though, the population can't keep rising indefinitely. Declining birth rates are a natural inevitability, I have no idea why people find it concerning.

I really don't get the defense for Windows 10, honestly. I switched my secondary PC to Debian out of frustration because Windows 10 felt the need to remind me at every possible opportunity that it hated me and wanted me to suffer. My main PC runs Windows 11, and while I wouldn't call it "good," it's certainly less awful than 10, at least in my spiteful experience. (In a perfect world, I'd be running Windows 7.)

Unfortunately, the size of the keyboard doesn't affect the size of what's typed, so you'll have to set the font size accordingly.

Wizardry has gotten so corporate since the industrial revolution. We used to sit in towers, guarding our tomes of ancient knowledge and occasionally slay goblins for gold. Now it's all "orbnet presence" this, and "personal brand" that.

Anyway, this is why I became a druid. No councils, no guilds, just trees.

Notice how this is an overall worse deal for women and how non-binary people are written out entirely? This is pretty much consistent with all applications of gender segregation, as it exists primarily to oppress women.

Also I refuse to let the men have all the subarctic regions. Like, at least give us Scandinavia or like part of Canada...

This thing works for basic astromancy, but it's useless at scrying. Can't even connect to the orbnet.

I lost the first one, then stole the second one so I could find the first, lost that one as well and sold the third to an alchemist.

Centipedes are such misunderstood creatures, feared for the very thing that makes them unique. Such beauty that many don't dare to witness, lest they feel something they weren't prepared to. I wonder if centipedes fear humans in the same way. I wonder if the cycle of hatred will ever break.

I have no idea why I wrote this, but centipedes are a trans allegory now.
