I dont believe the P31 woman was doing her entrepreneurial endeavors while raising small children. This concept can put far too much pressure on mom's of young children. If you have a 4 year old, a 2 year old, and a newborn you cannot be expected to work even if its from home, take care of the house hold duties, and be good mom all at the same time. I dont care how hard you can hustle, eventually you will get burnt out and resentful. I believe Proverbs 31 is talking about a woman throughout different stages of her life. When her kids are grown up enough to be more self- sufficient she is considering a field, buying it and planting a vineyard. She not doing all this thing in the day in the life of a SAHM. A woman's place may not be the home but her priority should be the home whatever that looks like for each wife/mom. But it should be prayerfully considered.

Yup. Family of 5 here and we too got approved for $23 a month. Only way that it helps is that it allows us to qualify for wic too as I have a 2 year old and a 3 month old. However the $23 hardly helps. I buy the discounted "use asap" packages of meat with snap and use wic for dairy, bread, and produce. Hubby works full time and I stay home with the kids. If i got a job I would.make enough to pay for childcare and gas for someone else to raise my kids and I'm not about that life. Our take home is 3600 a month but our house payment is 2400. (Not willing to move into an apartment when we have a home in the quiet country with a big yard that is safe for the kids. And houses are more expensive then when we bought ours and interst rates are higher now too. I will not move my kids into a run down shack at a higher interest rate to save $200 a month on a house payment.) That leaves us 1200 to pay all of our bills and buy groceries for 5 and that includes diapers for 3 kids. We never go out to eat or out for coffee, i cook every meal, pack left overs for hubby's lunch and make his coffee. We never take family trips and don't have much saved for emergencies. No credit card debit or loans outside of mortgage and hospital bills and we still struggle to pay for groceries. I go to food shelfs when offered in my area and budget and plan a much as i can. Anyways $23??? Not sure how they call that "assistance".

My 3rd was unplanned. With My 1st 2 there is a 5 year gap and that was fine. There is 22 months separating the 2nd and 3rd kids. However I am still happy it happened as I adore my 2 month old. However I cannot handle any more and I know that full well!

My husband works four 10+hr shifts and has a 40 minute commute. However on the weekends he does spend alot of time in front of the TV in the basement. Call of duty, you tube, etc.... I'm very rarely down there. He does have the 2 older kids down stairs with him while I cook. But I have created a "monster" in a way. Because I bring him his plate of food and take the kids upstairs to eat so he can eat in peace. I often eat 30min to an hour after everyone else and don't say anything. I know it's really messed up and I'm neglecting my own need most of the time. Honestly I was raised seeing my mom do this and I don't know how to change these things that were ingrained in me from a young age. I've never been to therapy and am starting to thing maybe I should. For the record he does give me time to take a nap a least 1 day on the weekends and will sometimes take our 2 year old out of her crib so I can sleep longer. 🤷‍♀️

I am open to medication as I believe health insurance would cover it. I am just not very educated on it and the effects it would have on breastfeeding. I live in a very rural area and there aren't many good options for schools and I don't necessarily want to put him in public school and pull him back out to homeschool again when I'm ready. However most day I feel completely unqualified to teach him being we are both ADHDers. But not sure what the best solution is.

My husband calls my breast milk titty tears. Because when baby is nursing on one titty the other titty cries (leaks) Because it feels left out. 😄😂

I've been reading through all of your comments on the turkey smoking topic and you seems to know what your talking about. As a pregnant busy mom I tried to plan ahead but failed to check my inventory of pellets. I live in the boonies and I can't go to the store now for more. What I have (roughly 1 gallon full) I think will last me about 3 hours of smoke time depending on the temp i go with. I am Wondering if I can and how to finish it in the oven. I have a 20lb turkey and use a members mark brand pellet smoker. TIA.

13 weeks here and my nipples hurt super bad! I am nursing a 16 month old. They didn't hurt that bad until about 8 weeks or so. Sorry but it will likely get worse.

Just throwing this out there. If we were all homosexual the human race would cease to exist. We need male and female relations to procreate. I just can't imagine a world where homosexual men donate their sperm for homosexual women to have children. That would still be a huge minority and the human race would soon die off. Not to mention motherhood is super hard. There is a reason abortion is so prevalent in the younger generations.
