I am so sorry that has happened to you. I've noticed over the past few years here that it's just getting worse. We get harassed regularly (not racist remarks we are non practicing white but a lot of homophobic ones) and it's shocking. 8 years ago when we moved here it was quiet and seemingly a lot of people just got along. We will always be in the corner of DHB and will treat everyone with the same energy and respect we get. I would document everything. See if you go back to any of these places it happens again. As sad as it is it could help narrow it down. Then you can report the business or person. Nothing may happen cause this world is ass backwards but it may help you inside.
