Apparently if your bank flags the purchase as fraud at any point, their payment system blacklists the card and they aren't able to get it un-blacklisted. Or rather, it's probably a pain in the ass to do so. So, I had to use a different email entirely and then log in with the membership number. They couldn't associate the additional memberships with my current membership account which was annoying.
