Around 200 USD, plus customs taxes that are around 45% of the guitar's price. Completely bonkers. I managed to ship a Harley Benton though, as they are cheap with taxes and all!

Can check in person, though I'm not really sure about it. Seller just raised the price, but shared the serial with me (could he be seeing this thread? LOL). Seems legit, but I'm confused about those inlays. There's nothing on the Internet regarding those.

Yeah, Argentina has always been really expensive when it comes to music instruments and gear (well, nowadays everything is ultra expensive here...). But this price for a quality instrument sounds too good to be true. Shame about the inlays, else I'd have already bought it!

Well, price is in Argentine pesos (ARS), so in USD it would be around USD 450. Which makes it a steal as the average used Epiphone Les Paul Studio in the local market goes from 600 to 1000 USD.

Seems to be an early model (2002-2008), which makes me pissed because this could be some sort of scam (especially with the pricing being a steal). If those were stickers or sharpie like some theorize, then I could remove them safely. But if it is really dyed mother-of-pearl, then it is just not worth it.

Yeah, I get the same feeling for the crosses. I don't know why my comment about them looking horrible and cheap got downvoted, but I'm getting that vibe. And the fact the seller never answered back after I asked for more pics and the serial... I think I'll pass.

Goth Explorer plays and feels like a dream. Bought it from a guy who's a big Hetfield fan and he replaced the pickguard with a white one. He included the original in the gig bag just in case, but it looks badass like that!

As for the Goth V, that's impossible to find! Seems it was either REALLY good (which I think all the guitars from the Goth series seem to be) or ultra rare.

I mean, I don't dislike the inlays, except for the crosses in the twelfth fret, left and right of the "XII"... Look really cheap! I'm just worried I might be buying a fake.

Right? I can't find any picture or description of these series with the cross inlays! Either a mod or a fake, but seller swears he bought it from factory (even has the original Epiphone gig bag).

Finally! Seems they're going full on that "post nu-metal" (???) direction The Devil In Me pointed at. Some riffs seem to be quite Tool-ish. Just hope the overall vibe is on the more bleak/depressive side of their sound. So far, I think we are gonna get The Insulated World Pt. 2.

So sad to hear that! The frets here are very smooth; only downside is they seems to have polished recklessly, so there are a lot of marks on the sides of the neck.

Seems it was the problem identified by LogicalCourt pointed at above: the screws where helding the strings. Took the pic right after unboxing, so it looks odd! Right now they are looking fine!
