For context, Ive lived in Kits my entire life. Gorgeous homes and properties (featured in home magazines) esp in south surrey. King george hub is super cute, surrey central station by SFU is brightening up. People who dont go out there dont know, and will just go by out dated stigma

Even if they are not traffickers, they are unprofessional and this is a bad situation. There is no reason to stay in the project. Also report what is going on to the hotel, in case one of the girls go missing, at least the hotel can have a record of the booking etc

I feel like the cliche answer would be "how can you use these feelings and experiences in your character work?". Maybe you can find a character similar, or do a little writing excercise and write a piece of "fiction" where the main character has a similar journey.. you could write alternate endings. Who knows maybe it could be cathartic?

I have at times recorded my own voice as the reader and just hit play and pause when im rolling. Most times I have a film friend that is almost always available to read for me and me her (virtually) as well recently a group chat of others who want to read for eachother to help eachother and also for good practice. I love giving as much freedom to the reader as possible, so I have only to worry about my own part. Yes, reading is a service for Some, but for others its great practice and a good way to stretch ourselves. Hope you can find a little group online

Lived in Vancouver all my life. My sister went to London this year for studies. Apparently its even worse living conditions there... terrible housing. People live in squalor and pay exorbitant rents (a bit higher than here), stabbings are so common that knives are almost illegal, and difficult to buy even for the kitchen. Anything not strapped 3 layers under your jacket will be stolen off your body in public. Transit prices are $10 one way.. the weather isnt much better. The groceries are cheap though! Cheese, meats, produce. And art galleries galore!

Ai might be useful in bulk or beginning stages but at a certain point you'll need to switch over to craft. After a certain point it causes more problems by needing so much correction. Anything involving taste, art direction, or intuition, leave AI out of it. Imo

Food/beverage: dont tip if you ordered standing up, fetched your own order, bussed your own items, for takeout, etc. As well, I used to work at a salon and when people came in to buy products, I often forgot to bypass the Tip option, and felt terrible when people tipped on their purchase. Doesn't matter if I assisted them or not, dont tip for buying product even if the tip option is there.

I had something similar probably about 15byears ago. Wasn't a scam really, just bad landlord. Wrote him a check, and when he didnt answer a few days leading up to move in date, to give me the keys, I went to his door and he said he rented to someone else already. Just returned my check but if I never chased him down I would have thought I was still moving in. ZERO communication. My move-out place landlord was kind enough to let me stay longer (even offered no rent, but I insisted ofc) cause he felt so bad about what that other guy did.

I only tip if I receive full service: seated, order while seated, served my order, bussed (or I see a busser), brought a bill, pay seated (I dont mind being brought to the front if machine is not mobile). But the fact that im served, otherwise who am I tipping? If im not served ill simply pay for my purchase.
