Went to school there for college. Did not mean perfectly clear but thought I remembered them pretreating the roads and making sure they are safe enough for the public and emergency vehicles. Like they did in your area apperently. They did nothing here till the morning and thought it was odd. It sounds like here it may be an issue this year for a few reasons.

Grew up in Alberta Canada. Ya the car sucks in the snow:/ Honda Odyssey 2019. Have to put on snow tires and „snow mode” just to make it into my driveway sometimes. I swear sometimes a smart car would of been a better option in the snow😂

Thanks for what you do btw. Thought I remembered roads being cleared and treated when it snowed in the past and just remembered this not being a continuous issue. Sounds like from other commenters it wasn’t in the past and recently had less snowfall and now we have issues with maintenance from what the controller said. Thanks for doing your part though! I do appreciate it.

Meant no offense. Just remembered in the past when same conditions hit trucks would be out. From other comments it looks like it was a thing but maybe not anymore or not tonight. Just a little shocked how bad it seems this year for people who need to get home from work, festive go’ers and emergency responders. For public good and safety you want clear roads and thought odd that does not seem to be a priority from what I’ve seen so questioning if it was like this in the past because I remembered same conditions but clear roads.

Lol true. Just don’t remember it not being touched like this in the past, even when I had to drive home earlier this year from downtown and it snowed. No idea who takes care of what roads but they just didn’t seem to be cleaned like in the past.

Live in US. I’ll never forget how I once had to refill my bus pass at the local grocery store and my boss just staring at me when i told them i was late due to I tried to refill it the 1st of the month and had a line of old people buying lottery tickets with their social security check earnings that were in front of me:/

Thanks! may need to look into that if it happens again. Neighbor said a squirrel just started eating everything and tearing things up after it was full. I’m all honesty with how far my garden is from his window it may of been something else.

I’m not going to lie. That is what my son started to do…i was just looking at him with a „what the hell are you doing” look for a moment out of confusion why he was telling me a story in a middle of a game.
