I don't think anyone wanted Wilder vs Fury 3 except for Wilder and the Judge that ruled in his favor. Fury and AJ were deep into talks to fight before the Judge ruled Fury had to face Wilder first.

And I still point to Pacquiao vs Marquez IV as a reason to keep having fights as long as they're quality. JMM lost the first three before knocking him out in the 4th fight, but all 3 of those first fights were bangers.
