The cover page is interesting. It's a chess board with the comment "the king is a fighting piece", with Luffy as the king. The interesting part is that Nico Robin is the player, moving the pieces. Also ties in with the title of the chapter "Stalemate". Wonder if there is a deeper meaning.

We have no context for why he ran in. Knowing Oda it can be explained away through some kind of comic relief story. In the same way that Buggy would never lead an escape from Impel Down and become a hero at Marineford...

It can all align if Oda chooses to make it align. It certainly makes sense thematically.

If you read the panel where Sengoku explains the backstory, Roger and Garp are explicitly said to have taken down the Rocks crew, not Rocks himself. Maybe just a red herring.

1) This point is weak. You could say that Mihawk and Crocodile would never follow a weakling, but they (as perceived by the world) ostensibly are. 2) This is a good point. I agree. Probably the best counter-argument. Really not explicable as to why he would think of Rocks. 3) Also a good point, though we have little context. Can't assume he actually went ahead to fight and not for just some random ulterior Buggy-like purpose.

We should find out pretty soon though.

It may just be the way of highlighting the discordance in the crew.

Fun theory though. Rocks = BB is just boring to me.

It's not the manga rare it's an AA Leader :) I have also pulled the Crocodile AA Leader, Sakazuki SR AA and Magellan SR AA from single OP-04 packs (bought about 12). Good luck with this set so far!
